Rafiqul Alam- The BiographyRafiqul Alam is an eminent Vocal Artiste in Bangladesh. He is a successful disciple of Pandit Haripada Das an ex-student of Lakhnow Moris College of Music in India. Musical tradition & environment in the family helped him to be an able professional singer. Rabindra Shanget (Song of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore) was the main field of his performance in the early days of his career. He switched over to film singing and adopted the skill of light songs like. Modern, patriotic and folk songs. In 1981 he received the laurel of Best Singer Award from “Bangladesh Cine Journalists Association” for outstanding singing in a feature film called Gungchil. As on today he is taking part in the regular programs in the National Television and Radio since 1972.
